Bred Heifers

We did a preg check on the first 110 heifers today. They were exposed to bulls for 60 days. Ross Edwards did the preg exam. This group of heifers are 50 percent Pharo bred to pharo bulls.  Just over 70 percent of the heifers were with calf. We normally sell in December at the Geary Livestock Auction. Due to the drought we are considering keeping the heifers and calving them out. A lot of hard decisions to make this year.
